Privacy Policy
Lockersmith is built so that we know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what the Lockersmith desktop apps, web app and website (together, the “Service”) collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Your locker stays on your device
The list of cosmetics you tick or import is stored in local storage on your device. When you import a pasted item list or a locker screenshot, the text recognition runs on your device; the screenshot is not sent to us. We never ask for, receive or store your Epic Games login or password, and the Service does not connect to your Epic account.
2. What we do collect
- Share links (optional). If you create a share link, we store the locker card contents (item names, totals, the display name you type) so others can view it. You can delete a share link at any time from the app.
- Collector subscriptions. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects your payment details; we receive your email address, plan, and payment status, never your full card number.
- Support emails. If you write to us, we keep the conversation to help you.
- Basic technical data. Our servers log IP address, app version and request time when the app downloads daily Item Shop price data. Logs are deleted after 30 days. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.
3. How we use it
Only to run the Service: serve price data, host share links, process subscriptions and refunds, send watchlist alerts you turn on, answer support requests, and keep the Service secure. We do not build advertising profiles.
4. No sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws. We use a small number of service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) bound by contracts that limit their use of data to providing services to us.
5. Your rights
Depending on your state — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and others — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (which we don't do). To exercise a right, email support@lockersmith.app. We will verify your request using the email address on file and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
6. Children
The Service is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because the locker is stored only on the device, a child can use the free local features without giving us any personal information; share links and subscriptions are for users 13+ (subscriptions require a parent or guardian if under 18). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Retention and security
Share links remain until you delete them or after 24 months of no views. Subscription records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Deleting the app or clearing your browser storage removes your local locker; we cannot recover it for you.
8. Changes and contact
